In the previous post I explained How To Download Full Size Photos From Facebook Mobile. Today I have another trick for you.
For those who do not know, when you use Facebook on your mobile you are automatically directed to the mobile version of Facebook i.e. m.facebook.com. At times I have felt the need of using Facebook on mobile as I use it on my PC so after doing some idiotic comparison between urls i have figured out the solution. The reason why I need it is because
To use Facebook desktop version just go to www.facebook.com/home.php
I have tested it on my symbian device using the default browser, opera mini, opera mobile, UC browser.
Some of you might not want to go to home page so if you are already on some specific page on facebook in mobile version you will see the url like below:
m.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.100073337.548.10034159&type=1&v&refid=0&ref
You just have to replace m (before .facebook only) with www and erase all the characters starting from refid(including the characters id in refid) till the end. I have written the charactrs to be erased in red colour. For example as shown here for the above url:
www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.100073337.548.10034159&type=1&v&ref
Thats it. You have switched to the Facebook desktop version of the current page you were on. This trick applies to any Facebook page. If you have any problem comment below or on our Facebook page. Some of you might be using Facebook apps like fmobi, fascimile, etc to have extra features but i prefer opera mini.

- To view which friends are online without opening Nimbuzz or any other chat application.
